A creative safe space where art meets mental wellness.
The Whine & Paint Show is an interactive podcast hosted by Tamika Bright-Stubblefield, blending creativity with meaningful conversations about mental health, culture, current events, and the everyday human experience. Viewers are invited to sketch, sip, and paint along as Tamika and her guests explore real topics : from burnout and self-doubt to joy, community, identity, and what’s happening around us in the world.
Created with BIPOC communities at heart, this show offers a space where we are seen, centered, and heard , a space we’re often left out of. Everyone is welcome to tune in and create with us, but this corner of the internet is intentionally made for us to breathe, express, heal, and feel at home.

FRESH OUT THE VAULT
I had the incredible pleasure of interviewing Griot Baba Lumumba at UmojaHouse, his studio and creative space where community meetings are held and the cultural history of Black activism is preserved , complete with pictures of historical figures, members of the Black Panther Party, and more.
In this powerful conversation, we discuss Black liberation, mental health, and the urgent need to rebuild community within the Black community. We start by unpacking the concept of ego and explore how it impacts personal growth, collective progress, and the mental well-being of individuals and the community as a whole.
This episode is an inspiring discussion on empowerment, healing, and the work needed to strengthen our community. I hope to continue the conversation with Baba Lumumba and his important work in the near future.
🎨 Two years ago, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Edwin to talk about fatherhood or as I realized halfway through, maybe I should have said “within our community” 😅. At the time, he had just begun his journey as a dad, and we explored love, responsibility, and what it means to show up for the next generation. This episode is a heartfelt conversation that highlights growth, patience, and the beauty of stepping into fatherhood. I hope to catch up with Edwin and his journey sometime in the near future. Stay tuned!
The interview that started it all
In this thought-provoking episode , we explore the complex landscape of Doubt, its causes, and most importantly, strategies to overcome it with the talented Musician, Chef , Stylist and Skater @ReezzieRob
